This House Fits is a static home affordability calculator at thishousefits.com. Comfortable, stretch, and tight prices, plus cash left after take-home pay, are calculated in your browser. Version 1 has no accounts and does not collect email.
Pretax income, take-home pay, debts, living costs, down payment, rate, taxes, insurance, HOA, PMI settings, and the prices you test are not submitted to our server. There is no backend calculator, no credit pull, and no database of household finances.
Inputs live in the page while the tab is open. This version does not save them to cookies or browser storage. Close the tab and the numbers are gone.
Like most websites, the server that delivers these pages may keep ordinary request logs such as IP address, browser type, URL, and time. Those logs keep the site running. They are not used to rebuild your budget.
Version 1 does not use advertising cookies, analytics tags, or email capture. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
This tool is for adults comparing housing costs. It is not directed at children.
